Your First Visit

Paperwork:

Upon entering the office, we have some brief paperwork for you to fill out (or click here to print and fill out the forms ahead of time). The paperwork provides us with general information about you and your condition, as well as with information regarding your insurance. Please bring your photo identification card and health insurance card with you to your appointment to be copied.

Consultation:

After your paperwork is complete and your information is entered into the system, you will have a private consultation with Dr. Laura Scheiner. You’ll be asked some questions to help determine the best way for us to treat your specific problems, as well as address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your treatment here at Family Chiropractic Centre.

Treatment:

After your consultation, you will generally be provided with same day treatment. This may include any range of therapies recommended by Dr. Scheiner..

Home/After Care Instructions:

Before you leave our office, Dr. Scheiner may have some home care instructions for you. This could include exercises, stretches, positions or activities to avoid, and also the use of ice / heat at home.

Time Allowance:

We ask that you please allow ample time for your appointment and to show up on time in order to be seen promptly. Each person’s conditions are unique and different, therefore Dr. Scheiner will want to be as thorough with you as possible so that you receive the best care. In general, please allow about an hour for your initial visit.

Future Appointments:

At your first visit please be prepared to schedule (have your calendar with you) your second visit appointment with us, at which time Dr. Scheiner will review her findings, make recommendations, and provide treatment.
